Biggest moment of my life! Just finished printing my design for the new limited repress of The Queers - Love Songs For The Retarded!!!! These are going to be available from Asian Man Records within a couple weeks. Be on the lookout! All the pre-orders on Interpunk.com already sold out!!

Thanks so much to everyone that’s been there for me. You are all the reason I’m able to be living my dreams right now.

SNdone on Flickr.Just finished my design for the Suicide Notes! They are a great pop punk band that’s sort of Ramones meets The Shangri-La’s. They should have shirts and stickers with this soon.
Check them out at http://www.reverbnation.com/thesuicidenotes

Heavy Metal Shop comic on Flickr. Here’s the comic I got to do for Heavy Metal Shop for this month’s SLUG. There’s 4 comics, by 4 artists, for 4 different local record stores to celebrate Record Store Day. All the comics focus on a regular that frequents the store.
I was really happy to be able to do something for the Heavy Metal Shop. I got my first Ramones album from them around 12 years ago and haven’t really been able to afford to shop there frequently even though I love the shop and Kevin and find them so important to Salt Lake. It felt like I could finally give something back.
Initially, I had a hard time with this comic because I just didn’t know how to make jokes come out with a one time comic. Usually you make conflict and whatnot out of popular references or interactions between personality types. I’m really happy with what I was able to come up with even with limited space and characters and references everyone might not get.
Hope you enjoy!

Union Street sign on Flickr.Yesterday I did the chalk sign for Union Street Eats here in Salt Lake in exchange for tacos! If you are ever in the area of the downtown library, be sure to get some of the best food in town!

Emily’s Mix - Cover on Flickr.Ah. I finally finished the mix tape I promised Emily like forevers ago. I super super love it too! This is my first time using gouache and I’m pretty damn into it.
The theme of the art for it is wishing you were in another place and trying to connect where you are with where you aren’t. It’s also about being pen pals.
I love the 50’s.

Dead Ringer Shirt on Flickr.I’m so happy I got to do a shirt for super cool pop punk band DEAD RINGER! Do yourself a favor and check them out!
Since I was designing a shirt, I wanted to make it something that people look good in. I’ve always thought circles look really good on shirts so, I tried to make it an obvious circle design without just imitating older pop punk staples like Screeching Weasel.
The dad is really sad and I think that’s super funny next to the tiki/beach party lettering. Plus, a tiki for an ‘I’? How could I resist!?
Hope you all like it!

PS! I have 2 crazy huge projects on the way! Stay tuned, sweety pies!!!
